How do I prove that the cartridge I am using did come through the mail from HP?

If you are receiving incorrect messages stating that you are using non-HP cartridges, while you have received your cartridges through mail from HP, you can take the following steps to address the issue:

 

Check the Packaging:

  • Ensure that the packaging has HP branding and the serial number.
  • Verify the authenticity by checking for holograms and security seals.

Use HP Toolbox:

  • Open HP Toolbox software on your computer.
  • Check for alerts and cartridge status to verify the cartridge.
