I have an HP color laser printer MFP M277dw  that I bought while I was living in California. Since then, I have moved the device to our summer home in Europe. Color cartridges are available here in Europe, but unfortunately, they seem to have some kind of region code, and the printer is not willing to accept them. They are original HP cartridges. I got the following advice: Contact HP Support: Reach out to HP customer support. They can guide you through the process of reconfiguring your printer to accept cartridges from a different region.  It would be a shame to throw this device away (bad from sustainability point of view) as it is still fully functional and has actually been very little used due to its location. Additionally, I have spent a lot of money on original HP cartridges. What can I do?

I'd be happy to help you!

Since you changed the country/region, you may need a region reset for your printer. I recommend you contact phone support for further assistance.

For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.
