I have recently moved back to the US and need to change the region on my printer so I can purchase ink cartridges locally.

I understand you moved, and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.

 

NOTE: regional reset is attempted on a best-effort basis, it might not work on all printers. 

 

 

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

I have the same issue, just need to change the region from USA to Europe.

I'd advise you to call the support number directly.  I went back/forth for over a month on this forum and it never got solved until I called.  Good luck!

Hi! I have the same concern but for a different printer (Deskjet Ink Advantage 3788). I have no access to HP652 ink here in the Philippines, we only have HP680 locally. Can you help me?
