Regionalization Incompatible Cartridges

HP Recommended
Officejet Pro 8610
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It appears that my HP Officejet Pro 8610 (purchased and only used in the USA) had it's regionalization set to accept z20 ink cartridges at some point. I found out unfortunately, when I received my brand new cartridges purchased from Amazon, that are z10, appear to be incompatible. I know this is an issues, because my old z20 cartridges work fine.   I have been unable to find any retail store (Staples, Office Depot, Amazon, etc.) where I can purchase z20 cartridges.  I have checked that my printer " has the most current updates installed."

Please provide me instructions on how to update the printer for z10 regionalization or tell me of an ongoing source for Z20 cartidges that I can purchase in the USA.

Hi @Classic4ever,

I'd like to help!

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
