Hello, I have a printer (HP OfficeJet 3830) originally purchased in USA and now want to use it the Czech Republic. Therefore, I generated the region reset request using HP Smart and called local HP support line. Unfortunately, I was told that they do not provide regionalization reset service anymore. Would it be possible to ask for the reset code here by sending the region reset request screenshot or info? Thank you.

Yes, because the printer must be regionalized through its country of origin:

Please, the regionalization of the equipment is done based on its country of origin.

In this case, contact HP USA and request the regionalization process

Thank you for the quick response. Is a phone call, in this case to the HP USA support line, the only way to request the regionalization reset? I can try to call from the Czech Republic but had troubles finding the correct number after choosing “contact us” and selecting my product. I’m getting a message saying “Currently we are unable to identify the correct Care Pack for your Product”. Would you happen to have the correct phone number I can call or link where I can ask for the support? Thanks
