Regionalization Reset

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 that I bought in the USA.  I recently went to buy new ink cartridges and I have been getting the message that they are not intended for the printer.  It turns out the cartridges that I bought previously were meant for Europe, and now it won't' accept the USA process.  I found out that I need to reset the regionalization of the printer so I can use my printer again.

@veet42, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
