Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi, I recently got the "remove and reinstall the indicates cartridge" message on my HP Deskjet 3835 printer, I changed the cartridge and the message keeps popping up. What should I do? Thanks!

I understand the ink cartridge is not working. To assist you better, which of the ink cartridges is damaged?

Are you using HP ink cartridges?

This printer supports printing in single-cartridge mode. Insert one ink cartridge at a time to identify the defective ink cartridge.

Make sure the plastic tape if any, is removed from the new ink cartridge before placing it in the printer.

 

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge

 

If the issue persists, I'm afraid this could be a hardware issue. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
