HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer

My original HP9010 printer died. HP sent replacement. The HP Instructions say to remove original printhead (from defunct printer) and install it in the new printer. Did that, connected to the internet, enrolled in Instant Ink. Keep getting the message: Protected Cartridge The indicated cartridge (all of them) is an HP Protected Cartridge which can only be used in the printer that initially protected it. The cartridge must be replaced. 

it goes on to say contact Instant Ink Support. Have not had luck doing that.

i would just like an easy, step by step set of instructions on what to do.
