HP OfficeJet Pro 6975 All-in-One Printer

Out of ink.  I bought the 902XL packet with colored and black ink.  The printer states that one or more of the cartridges is missing or damaged, but when I put the old cartridges back in, it states the same message, even though those had worked fine before I placed them.  Help!

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

 

I see that you are facing cartridge issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 6975 All-In-One Printer.

 

Please follow the steps listed below to clean the cartridge contacts.

1. Open the door or lid to the cartridge access area. Wait until the carriage stops moving before continuing.

2. Remove the cartridge indicated in the error message from the carriage.

3. Wipe the copper-colored contact on the cartridge with a lint-free cloth.

4. Reinstall the cartridge.

5. Repeat these steps for any other cartridges indicated in the error message.

6. Close the door or lid to the cartridge access area.
