Hi @Green-Bird
Welcome to the HP support community.
To retrieve the print job history from your HP OfficeJet Pro 9730, you may find that the printer does not have a built-in feature for accessing a detailed print job history for an extended period (like two months). However, here are a few options you can try:
1. Check Printer's Control Panel:
- On the printer's control panel, go to "Setup" (the gear icon).
- Navigate to "Reports" or "Print Reports" (this may vary based on firmware version).
- Look for options like "Job Log" or "Print Log". This will show you recent print jobs. However, this may only include the most recent jobs, and older entries may not be available.
2. Accessing via HP Smart App:
- If you are using the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device:
- Open the app and select your printer.
- Look for a section that includes “Print History” or similar.
- Depending on your settings, you may find records of previous print jobs here.
3. Using Web Interface (EWS):
- Access the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS):
- Enter the printer's IP address into a web browser (you can find the IP address on the printer's control panel under "Network" settings).
- Log in if prompted (usually no password is required, but it could be the default if you’ve set one).
- Look for a section related to "Reports" or "Job History". This may vary based on your printer's firmware.
4. Check Connected Devices:
- If you printed from a specific computer or mobile device, you may find the print history in that device’s print queue or print management settings.
- On Windows, you can check "Devices and Printers", find your printer, and view the print queue.
- On macOS, go to "Printers & Scanners" in System Preferences, select your printer, and view the print queue.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
