Product: MFP M283 fdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

When using the doc feeder to scan Im getting 4 lines the lenght of the document. Not when using the flatbed.  Must be dirt on the rollers. How do I clean them? Just got the printer in July 2021

Do I understand correctly that only the first 4 lines are scanned?

 

HP Scan is set like this,

if not then use these settings. Input Format should be equal to Output Format.

Sorry, I didn't explain the problem very well. The doc is scanned Ok but on the resulting copy are 4 dark lines running from top to bottom of the copy. Mostly from middle to one side

no problem

please make a copy with an empty (blank) page and then scan and

upload here, click on the icon "Insert photos", "Set format = Large", original size at least 200 KB.

 

I also need the "Print a Supplies Status page". Print this page and remove personal data and especially the serial number, then scan and upload here.
