After new cartridges installed an error message has frozen the screen.  "Cartridges not monitored by Your HP Instant Ink service". We do not have Instant Ink service,  we do not want or need Instant Ink Service. Touch screen will not respond to "OK"  We have had this printer for at least 3 years and never had a problem before.  The printer prints from computer but will not erase/remove the error notice on touch screen.

Hi,

Try opening the service door (as you would to replace ink). This will prompt the screen to change. Then close the door and click OK, when you get the instant ink message, may you then see any difference?

 

If not, with the printer turn on unplug the power cable from both ends to perform a full power drain, then plug it back and check if you may see any difference.

I have done all of the suggestions, I still can not get to my touch screen.  The ok button on the instant ink is not working.
