I have an HP Envy 5052 and I recently installed an HP Tri-color cartridge that I had purchase a while ago. The cartridge was new and unopened at the time of installation I immediately began receiving a message about the ink cartridges not communicating .... The first couple of times I got this message I removed and replaced the tri-color cartridge and the printer would work for one document. This solution only worked a few times and then the message would not go away. I queried this message and found your support boards so I followed all instructions to resolve the issue (cleaned the contacts on the cartridge and the printer with distilled water and a Q-tip. I waited 15 minutes for everything to dry out but the problem persisted. The last suggestion was to replace the cartridge, which I did and this solved the problem. I would like to be reimbursed for the defective cartridge. I have the original bag the cartridge came in, as well as the protective film that covered the contacts. Please advise the next steps I need to take for reimbursement.
