I've got rid of my printer as it wasn't working. I had an instant ink account and want to sell on the remaining inks I have. Can I do this?

No, you should NOT sell the cartridges - it won't do any good.

All Instant Ink Cartridges remain the property of HP.

The Instant Ink cartridges lock after the termination of the contract and cannot be used in any printer.

The ink cartridges can be recycled or (should be) returned to HP for disposal.

The details are included in the Terms of Service Contract.

For example,

Instant Ink – Terms of Service - UK

Section 5e

You can recycle the cartridges.

Sustainability – Business Systems / Devices - Recycle

HP collects used products for resale and recycling in 73 countries and territories worldwide

Can't send back the cartridges?

No, HP will not chase you down for ink cartridges.

Dispose of the cartridges according to your local laws.
