I bought two packages, each containing two cartridges, both roughly three years ago.  I ended up not using the Laser printer as much as I'd anticipated.  They've sat in my garage all this time.  I've not opened the boxes.  Would these no longer be usable?  And, if so, does HP have a mailing label for me to send them in for recycling?

These should be fine as long as they have not been exposed to extremely  high temperatures. I have used 7-10 year old cartridges with no problem. If you are going to recycle then yes HP does offer a return program. YOu can request a label at this website https://supplies-recycle.ext.hp.com/index.php?process=small_label_step_1&country=gb&language=en

Thanks, Repairatrooper.  I guess I'll hang on to these unused, boxed toner cartridges for a couple more years in case I need them.  Glad to hear from someone who's had more experience with these.
