I've just set up my new printer and inserted the two ink cartridges supplied.  But I also subscribed to instant ink.  Will I still receive my instant ink delivery? I read somewhere that because I've used the supplied ink with my new printer that I won't receive my first instant ink.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you need information on instant ink, I am glad to assist you.

If you have to use an instant ink cartridge to be connected with the instant ink account.

Once the instant ink levels go low, the system will automatically ship out the new set of cartridges.

Thank you for your reply. But my question was "should I insert the 2 supplied in cartridges" I have bought my new printer and I signed up for instant ink. Then I set up my printer and inserted the 2 ink cartridges supplied with printer. Then I briefly saw a message that said "because I've inserted the 2 cartridges I won't receive instant ink cartridges" so, should I have not inserted the 2 supplied cartridges or not?
