I am reaching out to report a recurring issue with my printer that has significantly impacted the print quality. Despite using white A4 sheets, as per standard procedure, the printed documents are marred by numerous small black lines across the page. This issue persists and detracts from the overall quality of the output.

To address this problem, I have undertaken a comprehensive cleaning of the printer, paying close attention to all its components, as recommended in the troubleshooting guidelines. Unfortunately, these measures have not resolved the issue.

For your reference, I will include a photograph of a recently printed document that clearly illustrates the problem.

Could you please provide further assistance or recommend additional steps to rectify this issue? Your expertise and guidance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and support. aaa.jpg

Hi @AHMED770,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear about the recurring issue with your HP Color Laser 150nw printer. The presence of small black lines across the printed page despite using standard white A4 sheets can indeed be frustrating. Since you've already performed a comprehensive cleaning of the printer without resolving the problem, there are a few additional steps you can take.

  • Inspect the Toner Cartridges: Check the toner cartridges for any damage or defects. If any of the cartridges are damaged or nearing the end of their lifespan, they may cause issues with print quality. Consider replacing them if necessary.
  • Check the Imaging Drum: The imaging drum may be another culprit for print quality issues. Inspect the drum for any scratches, marks, or signs of wear. If you notice any damage, replacing the imaging drum might be necessary.
  • Update Firmware and Drivers: Ensure that your printer's firmware and drivers are up-to-date. Sometimes, outdated firmware or drivers can cause compatibility issues that affect print quality. Visit the HP website to download and install the latest firmware and drivers for your printer model.
  • Adjust Print Settings: Experiment with different print settings such as print quality, paper type, and paper size. Sometimes, adjusting these settings can improve print quality and reduce the appearance of black lines.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
