Product: HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer

The small white plasic clip that pushes the ink cartridge down into the slot feel out when took out the used up one and now new one will not click down in place. How do I put the clip back in?

I see that there is an issue with the printer ink cartridge and may need replacement.
