Streaking on HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw

Heavy streaking on right hand side of paper when using HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw.

I have done as much maintenance and cleaning as I can but this does not resolve the issue.

Any suggestions before I throw out and buy a new printer?

If the streaks are a single primary color such as yellow or cyan then likely you have a bad cartridge that matches that color. First step is to remove each cartridge and examine for signs of leaks or excess toner. The blue/green drum on the bottom should be clean and shiny with no scratches or toner on it. If there is that cartridge is likely bad. If it is a reman or 3rd party that will be the case in about 1 in 3 cartridges. If the streaks are a brown and muddy then it is more likely you have an issue with the transfer belt such as a piece of paper caught under the cleaning brush at the back.
