Hi @BudShad,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're facing a "Supply System Problem" error after replacing the empty cartridges in your HP Officejet 8710 All-In-One Printer, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Check Cartridge Installation:

  • Make sure that the cartridges are correctly installed. Ensure they are securely inserted into the correct slots.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Power on the printer and check if the error persists.

Clean the Cartridge Contacts:

  • Remove the cartridges and clean the electrical contacts on both the cartridges and inside the printer using a lint-free cloth. Make sure not to touch the nozzles or copper-colored contacts.

Update Firmware:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP support website. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve compatibility issues.

Reset the Printer:

  • Perform a power reset by turning off the printer, unplugging it from the power source, and waiting for about a minute before plugging it back in and turning it on.

Check for Obstructions:

  • Ensure that there are no obstructions or debris in the cartridge area that could be preventing proper cartridge detection.

Use Genuine HP Cartridges:

  • Ensure that you are using genuine HP cartridges. Non-HP cartridges or expired cartridges may cause compatibility issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
