Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need to decommissionng a 1170 office jet for six months. How I can proceeded to keep the printer and printer head useful? Thanks

6 months is too long a period for an inkjet printer to be unused.

 

It would be way better for the printhead if you could find someone to print regularly than leaving it unused.
