We use our printer sporadically, maybe around 50 pages a year. Every time I try to print, its a blank page with spots of ink. Cleaning the cartridge (and all other recommended troubleshooting) has failed. The only solution we have found to work is replacing the cartridge. On average we get about 15-20 pages per cartridge which seems insane. Has anyone else encountered this before? Any recommended solutions?
If the printer is left unused for a longer period the liquid ink in printhead gets dried and you get bad print quality. That is normal for all printers that use ink and are more sitting unused than used.
To maintain your printhead in good health you need to print something minimum once per week.
