If I print a testpage it prints text in black and in colour. If I print through my laptop, the pages I print only show the coloured text. The black text is not visible. I use a USB connection to my printer.

The black cartridge is full.
I have already removed my printer from my laptop and re-installed it. To no avail.

@Wemie

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that black ink is not printing while printing from a notebook with Chrome OS, I am glad to assist you.

Which application are you trying to print from?

Did you try to print from different applications and check if that prints fine?

Hi, thanks for your reply. I changed the black cartridge, although it was not empty yet. And that worked. I appreciate your effort.
