Check Ink Levels and Refill Ink Tanks:

Use the Correct Paper: Ensure the paper you are using matches your print job. If it is not suitable, reload the printer with the correct paper type.
- Load the paper print side down in the input tray.
- Do not use wrinkled or curled paper.
- Use recommended paper for best results, such as HP Advanced Photo Paper for high contrast graphics or photos.
Check Print Settings: Adjust the print and paper settings to match your print job:
- Paper Type
- Print Quality
- Paper Size
- Color or Black and White options
Clean Ink Smears: Use the automated tool to clean ink smears on the back of printouts.
- On the printer control panel, swipe left, touch Setup > Tools > Clean Page Smears.
Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page:
- Print a diagnostic page and check for missing colors, fading, and white lines.
- On the printer control panel, swipe left, touch Setup > Tools > Print Quality Report.
Clean the Printheads:
- Clean the printheads if you find defects on the diagnostic page.
- On the printer control panel, swipe left, touch Setup > Tools > Clean Cartridges.
Align the Printheads:
