hi @SBCinc

To exchange unopened HP 738 ink cartridges for HP 738M cartridges for your HP DesignJet XT950 printer, you should follow these steps:

  1. Check Return Policy:

    • Review HP's return and exchange policy on their website or the documentation provided at the time of purchase. Ensure that your cartridges are eligible for return or exchange.
  2. Contact the Vendor:

    • If you purchased the cartridges directly from HP, you can contact HP customer support for assistance with the exchange process.
    • If you bought them from a third-party retailer, reach out to the store where you made the purchase to inquire about their return/exchange policies.
  3. Prepare for Exchange:

    • Ensure that the ink cartridges are unopened and in their original packaging.
    • Have your purchase receipt or order confirmation handy, as you might need to provide proof of purchase.
  4. HP Customer Support:

    • Visit the HP Customer Support page for guidance. You can use the online chat feature or contact them by phone to request an exchange.
  5. Visit a Local Store:

    • If there's a local HP store or authorized retailer nearby, consider visiting in person to process the exchange more swiftly.

I hope this helps
