Trying to get the chips in the cartridge to be recognised by printer

I have bought some ink cartridges and installed the chips but printer says the ink is still low how do I get it to reset

You can't the low level is stored in the chip, it can't be reset.

So what is the point of taking the old chips out and putting them in the new cartridges.  What do we do now to be able to print if the printer won't recognise the print levels this is not helpful

You can get new replacement chips online and put them.

How do we get the new chips to callebrate in the cartridges.  Also do the laser printers photocopy?
