Unable to print in color from Mac

I am unable to print in color from my HP Envy 6055 printer. I am using a Mac. I followed the instructions on a previous post--removing the printer from the printer queue, shutting down the computer, then reinstalling the printer. The problem does not appear to be ink related. I have been able to print in color in the past. Please help. Thanks.

I understand you are not able to print in color from your Mac. Try making a standalone copy in color and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your Mac.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Also, check for any software updates on Mac

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

• Which application are you trying to print from?
• Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?

Check the print settings and make sure the 'Black and white' box is not checked.
