Product: HP ENVY 4520
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a HP envy 4520 at a thrift store for 20 bucks. When I bring it home and turn it on it's giving me a error message "Carthage cannot be used until printer is enrolled in HP instant ink". Since I am not the one who enrolled it and I don't believe the thrift store will let me bring the printer back. Is there a way to turn this off or bypass it?

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you are receiving a "cartridges cannot be used until printer is enrolled in instant ink" error.

 

If the cartridges are marked instant ink on them , please replace them with regular ink cartridges to print/copy.
