Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

We cancelled Instant Ink a couple of years ago. The printer has been offline for at least a year. It's back on line but now it won't print because they aren't instant ink cartridges

Hi @Burf1

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Please try the below suggestions and let me know if this helps.

Remove the Printer from the Instant Ink Program:

  • Log in to your HP Instant Ink account at instantink.hpconnected.com.
  • Ensure the printer is no longer active in the program. If it's still listed, contact HP support to confirm the cancellation.

Reset the Printer:

  • Perform a hard reset of the printer:
    • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
    • Wait for 60 seconds, plug it back in, and turn it on.

Update Firmware:

  • Visit the HP Support page and download the latest firmware for your printer to ensure it isn’t stuck on older Instant Ink-related settings.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
