Hello, 

 

I recently installed a new black ink cartridge and since then no color is printing. I noticed my default printer changed to “SCAN ONLY” and I have gone through the basics steps and all the test prints do not have any color. The color cartridge levels are at half full too.  The deskjet 2540 network.  Seems like I can’t print in color at all,

 

I feel it's a software issue or something changed in the settings and I need to reset/reinstall the software? I am a newbie with this.
