@Sofia_Angela, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding a print quality issue!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Smart Tank 210 Series printer is producing pale or faded colors when printing a picture, here are some possible reasons and solutions:

Low Ink Levels

  • Check your ink levels using the HP Smart app or printer control panel.
  • If any ink is low, refill the ink tank.

Clogged Printhead

  • Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Report to check for streaks or faded colors.
  • If needed, clean the printhead through the HP Smart app or printer settings.

Incorrect Paper Type

  • Ensure you are using the correct photo paper or high-quality paper for color prints.
  • Adjust the paper settings in the print menu.

Print Quality Settings

  • In the printer settings, select Best Quality instead of Draft Mode for better color accuracy.
  • Enable Color Printing instead of Grayscale.

Outdated or Corrupt Printer Drivers

  • Update your printer drivers from the HP Support website.
  • Try reinstalling the printer software.

Incorrect Color Profiles

  • If printing from an image editing app, adjust the color profile settings to match the printer.

If the issue persists, try printing a Nozzle Check Pattern or aligning the printhead to see if the colors improve

Take care, and have an amazing day!
