@Dede27, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP ENVY 6455e All-in-One Printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like your printouts are coming out distorted, with the bottom of the page appearing wider than the top. This issue is often caused by paper misalignment, incorrect paper settings, or a hardware-related problem. Try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Check Paper Alignment

  • Open the paper tray and ensure the paper is loaded correctly.
  • Make sure the paper guides are snug against the paper without bending it.
  • Use high-quality, non-damaged paper.

2. Adjust Print Settings

  • Open the Print Preferences from the print dialog box.
  • Check if the paper size and type match the actual paper loaded in the tray.
  • Try changing the Paper Handling settings to "Scale to fit" or similar options.

3. Run Printer Calibration & Alignment

  • Open the HP Smart app or HP Printer Assistant.
  • Go to Printer Maintenance and select Align Printhead.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions and print a test page to check for improvement.

4. Update Printer Firmware & Drivers

  • Visit HP’s official website and check for any driver or firmware updates.
  • Install any available updates and restart the printer.

Let me know if you need help with any specific step! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
