I have an HP Laserjet Pro MFP283cdw printer. When printing pages, I get white blotches, but the odd fact is that they are not always in the same position or on every page. I’ve checked all drums, shaken the toners, and used a cleaning sheet, but it’s not working. Do you have any ideas as to what it is and if it can be repaired? Many thanks for any suggestions.

The blotches show up with black and white prints too. And it doesn't appear in the same spot every time.

If the shape of the blotch is the same and always in the middle then it's is the transfer belt. Did you print any labels recently, maybe a piece of label is stuck on the belt?

I took out the printer cartridges to look at the transfer belt, and this is the hole in the transfer belt. I have no idea how it could have happened, but the part (new transfer belt) is almost as much as buying new printer. So looks like I'll have to buy a new printer.
