Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP Office Jet Pro 6968 Printer.  It has started printing white spaces horizontally on the printed item.  I have cleaned the printhead several times, put all new ink cartridges in, aligned the printer, and cleaned the smear.  When the test page is printed, it comes out perfectly.  Therefore, I think it may have something to do with the connection between my computer and my printer.  Can anyone offer another suggestion?

It sounds incredibly frustrating to have your printer working perfectly on test pages but not delivering the same quality for your actual prints—it’s so discouraging when you've already tried so many solutions!

 

Try updating the firmware if not done already. Click here

 

If you have performed all the steps from this document and are still having issues, the cartridges or the printer is faulty.
