Hi @SANTI0110,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Smart Tank 510 printer is not printing green or blue, it could be due to a few common issues. Here's a step-by-step guide to diagnose and resolve the problem.
Check Ink Levels
- Ensure that the ink levels in the cyan (blue) and yellow tanks are adequate. If the ink levels are low, refill the tanks using the correct HP ink.
Perform a Printhead Cleaning
- Inconsistent or missing colors may result from clogged printheads. Use the printer's maintenance menu or the HP Smart app to perform a printhead cleaning.
- After cleaning, run a print quality diagnostic page to verify improvement.
Check for Air in the Ink Tubes
- Air bubbles in the ink tubes can prevent ink flow. Gently follow the printer manual's instructions to prime the ink system if needed.
Verify Ink Bottle Type
- Confirm that you're using genuine HP ink bottles. Non-HP inks might not mix correctly, leading to color issues.
Align the Printheads
- Misaligned printheads can cause color inaccuracies. Use the printer's maintenance tools to align the printheads.
Inspect the Color Cartridges/Nozzles
- Sometimes, the nozzles or cartridges that deliver ink might be clogged or damaged. Inspect and clean the printhead assembly manually if necessary.
Update Printer Firmware
- Ensure the printer has the latest firmware installed. Check for updates via the HP Smart app or the printer's settings menu.
Test a Different Document
- Print a test page or different document to rule out file-specific issues.
Perform a Factory Reset
- If none of the above resolves the issue, you might need to perform a factory reset. Be sure to back up any settings beforehand.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
