Hi @Jb2461,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Printing from your iPhone to an HP printer over Wi-Fi is relatively straightforward. Here's a general guide to help you through the process.

Ensure Printer Compatibility: Confirm that your HP printer supports wireless printing and is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone.

Install HP Smart App (optional): You can download the HP Smart app from the App Store if you haven't already. This app provides various features, including printing from your iPhone to your HP printer.

Connect Printer to Wi-Fi: If your printer isn't already connected to Wi-Fi, you'll need to do this first. Refer to your printer's manual for specific instructions, but generally, you'll go into the printer's settings menu to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.

Ensure Printer is Ready: Make sure your printer is turned on and has enough paper and ink or toner.

Print from iPhone:

  • Open the document, photo, or webpage you want to print on your iPhone.
  • Look for the "Share" button (usually indicated by a square with an arrow pointing upwards).
  • Tap on "Print" from the options. If you don't see Print, swipe to find it. Tap Print.
  • Select your printer from the list of available printers. If your printer doesn't appear, ensure it's turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone.
  • Adjust print settings if necessary (number of copies, color, etc.).
  • Tap "Print" in the top right corner to send the document to your printer.

Check Printer: Once you've sent the print job from your iPhone, check your printer to ensure it starts printing. If it doesn't, make sure there are no error messages on the printer's display and that it's properly connected to Wi-Fi.

Troubleshooting: If you encounter any issues, such as the printer not being detected or the print job not completing, try restarting both your iPhone and the printer. You can also check for any updates for your printer's firmware or the HP Smart app.

By following these steps, you should be able to print from your iPhone to your HP printer over Wi-Fi.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
