I just wanted to know if a 950 xl ink cartridge would work in my canon TS 3533 printer

I would guess NOT.

 

Canon printer is not made to run on HP ink.

 

Best ask Canon whether such a cross over is even possible.

 

My opinion:  Ask before you try -- the results might be unexpected and perhaps even catastrophic for the printer.
