HP Recommended

I have the 7720 large format printer and was just told by HP that none are available and there are no plans to restock! How can HP sell me a computer, tell me to only use HP cartridges, and then STOP MAKING THE CARTRIDGES?? Hoping this person does not know what they're talking about. Otherwise, this feels like a dirty trick by HP. Say it aint so!!
