when scanning a document from the document feeder a vertical line appears at the right side of the scanned page (from top to bottom). This is not the case when the document is put directly on the glass.

So, I suppose that the problem is located on the feed but I don't know how to access it

Thanks for helping

Lift the document feeder to access the scanning glass and clean the scanning glass for the feeder.

Already cleaned the glass but not related on it. I explaines that it only happens when charging the documents into the feeder. Putting the docs directly on the glass, the copy is perfect

You have 2 glass one for flatbed and one for document feeder, you need to clean the one for document feeder the smaller one on the left side.

Thank you so much for your tip. But can you give some more detail pse? I can't find a second glass!! Have I to open the feeder to encounter it? And how can I open it?  Thanks in advance and sorry that I'm not really confident with these manips!!
