Hi @Jill142,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I can understand how frustrating it must be to see that blinking light, especially after trying to reseat the cartridges without success. It’s really disheartening when nothing seems to work, but I’m confident we can figure this out together!

This condition occurs when there is an issue with an ink cartridge.

If the Resume light is also blinking, the ink levels are low or the ink cartridge is incompatible.

Both ink level icons blink, Ink Alert light on, and Resume light blinks

If the Resume light is not blinking, the cartridge might be incompatible or faulty.

Both ink level icons blink and Ink Alert light blinks

Make sure your ink cartridges are compatible with your printer and there is adequate ink in the cartridges. If the issue persists, go to HP inkjet printers - Ink cartridge errors.
