@mrE2025, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Deskjet 3510 e-All-in-One Printer Cartridge Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The HP Deskjet 3510 e-All-in-One Printer is designed to work with specific HP ink cartridges, and using non-HP branded cartridges (such as ONN) may result in errors or performance issues. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

Recommended Steps:

Confirm Cartridge Compatibility: Ensure you are using the correct HP ink cartridges for your HP 3510 printer. The recommended HP cartridges for the HP Deskjet 3510 are:

  • HP 61 Black Ink Cartridge
  • HP 61 Tri-color Ink Cartridge
  • HP 61XL High Yield Black Ink Cartridge
  • HP 61XL High Yield Tri-color Ink Cartridge

Clean Cartridge and Printer Contacts:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Remove the cartridge.
  • Use a lint-free cloth to gently clean the electrical contacts on the cartridge and inside the printer.
  • Wait a few minutes, and then reinsert the cartridge.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for about a minute.
  • Plug the power cord back into the printer.
  • Turn on the printer.

Reinstall the Cartridge:

  • Make sure the cartridge is inserted correctly and the cartridge latch is securely closed.

Check for Cartridge Damage:

  • Inspect the cartridge for any visible damage, if found, you may need to replace it with a new HP branded cartridge.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
