Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 and am leaving at daybreak on two week vacation.

Yellow cartridge ran out, and replacement did not work and spits it out.

Now the printer says it must remain turned on to avoid damage!

I need to shut it down and deal with cartridge problem when I get back.
