My HP printer All-in-One is ONE YEAR OLD and had this carriage blockage that I see others have experienced with the same family of printers. After an afternoon on the phone with support, it turns out it is a hardware issue and the printer is kaput. My warranty is over so my option is to buy a new printer or go printer-less. Unbelievable shoddy production. I never imagined I'd have to assume the printer would croak just after the warranty ran out. Looking elsewhere.

I have been on WhatsApp with them for a couple of hours. I tried that route because the two phone numbers HP France support gave me for English-language support didn't work. 

 

Apparently I should have saved the original invoice because without it nothing can be done. I never expected to have the printer break down so quickly or I would have.
