I have instant HP ink.  Several weeks ago installed a new yellow cartridge.  Since then,, yellow dominates all printing..   I print Hallmark cards....example color should have been glue and lilac.  It  is yellow and dark pink.     Computer whiz worked on it and says I should have had a notification (letter) about yellow (didn't get it)     Now, he changed  blue and magenta cart and cannot get blue to print.

@jakeandsissy, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand the print quality is not good. To assist you better,

  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
  • Try making a standalone copy in color from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Clean the printhead as shown in this document and print a test page to check the result - Black Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
