HP Recommended

I have a Mac mini and a Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M283cdw. When printing it comes out faded and the colors are not appearing as the same colors they should be. We have ran diagnostics, cleaning, aligning, calibrating, my cartridges are genuine HP (they have the chips) and they all have plenty of ink in them 60-90%. My neighbor who has a similar printer spent 2 hours with me today trying to trouble shoot and it's still printing the same poor quality. I have tried connecting the printer with a cord and disconnecting the wi-fi and it didn't change anything. At this point my frustration is high and I have no idea what could be wrong with it. When I printed out the ink level page, the black, blue and yellow colors show up, but the magenta is white (blank). Is it possible I have a defective cartridge? Would one cartridge cause the ink of all colors to appear so faded out? Any ideas of setting I can check or possible solutions, please help!!!! Thank you
