correct paper to print photo on one side and text on the other side

I want to make a flyer where I print a photo on one side,  and then add text to the back. What would be the best paper to use?

Photo Paper / Specialty Photo printing  2-Sided

You need two things to do this type of printing "properly":

The right printer and the right software / application

What?

Two sided printing in photo paper size is a specialty print task.

Example

 HP Envy Inspire 7220e 7255e All In One printer How to print a 2 sided 4x6 photo or Duplex Photo

This tutorial shows how to print a 2-sided 4x6 inch photo on the HP Envy Inspire 7955e printer.

The HP Envy Inspire supports 5x5, 5x7, 4x6 Photo Duplex, 4x12 Panorama as well as Letter and A4 photo prints.

Example in the video uses supported HP Matte Photo Paper

What else?

If you don't have the proper printer but you do have a printer that supports Index paper (HP Card),

You can print the photo on one side, flip and print the text on the other side.

If you don't have a printer that will support Index paper (HP Card), but you do have a printer that supports regular paper, and possibly Brochure matte paper,

(then)

Ceate a document - photo on the first page of the document and text on the second page of the document -- Print duplex.

Caveats:

Where supported, Duplex is usually fussy about paper size and paper type.

Be sure to alert the printer to the paper size / type - Tray and Paper

Next, Set the paper size / type in the application / printer software used to open / view / configure / submit the job to the printer.
