I purchased a new HP printer from Staples in Nov. At that time I also bought a new HP ink cartridge 936 for when the factory supplied cartridge ran out. I had mostly been printing black and white so cartridge did not need replacing until this week.

When I installed the 3 color cartridges the blue kept coming up with defective error. Was very frustrated because I could not even print in black and white while defective blue cartrdge was installed.

I took into Staples and they said I could not return it because I bought it over a month ago.

This ridiculous since only the cyan is defective and sold only in a $87 3 pk of cyan, magenta and yellow.

Note I bought another 3pk 936 at $87 installed it and it works fine.. But I am still out $87 for the original pack I purchased in Nov which has a defective cyan cartridge.

Please let me know what my recourse is here.
