Officejet Pro 8600 Plus E-All-in-One printer - N911g
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I have a problem with a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus E-All-in-One printer - N911g:
the black cartridge is still almost full, as default is set: grayscale print only black. If I want to print black text, I get the error message: Yellow is used up.
But it is set "black only" ...

How can I solve the problem without buying yellow ? I only need black.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi @Webmaus,

I'd like to help!

Your printer is designed to print only when all ink cartridges have ink. To prevent clogs in the printing mechanism and other print quality issues, some ink must be available in all the cartridges to perform periodic servicing and printing tasks

You may refer to -Cannot Print When One HP Ink Cartridge is Empty

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
