HP ENVY 6055e All-in-One Printer

envy 6055e printing blank pages from computer.  When I run the "information" test from the printer I get some color on the edges of the report but the content of the page is blank.  My cartridges are low but HP Smart indicates they don't need to be changed yet.  Print quality did not gradually go down.  It printed fine and then blank the next time.  I've cleaned the printer heads to no avail.

Hi @rabbfarm24,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy 6055e is printing blank pages even after cleaning the print heads, here are some steps you can try.

  • Check Ink Levels: Even if HP Smart indicates the cartridges are fine, try replacing the cartridges with new ones. Low ink can sometimes cause issues despite being marked as usable.
  • Run a Print Quality Diagnostic: Use the HP Smart app to run a print quality diagnostic report. This can help identify if there’s an issue with the cartridges or print heads.
  • Perform a Deep Cleaning: If the regular cleaning didn't help, consider performing a deep cleaning of the print heads through the HP Smart app. This process takes longer but can often resolve stubborn blockages.
  • Reset the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it for a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes clear temporary issues.
  • Check for Software Updates: Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check this through the HP Smart app or the HP website.
  • Print from a Different Device: Try printing from another device to rule out any issues with the original computer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
