Hi @PrintHelpPls ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code 0xc19a 0023 on an HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 typically indicates an issue with the printhead. This could be due to a physical problem with the printhead or a communication problem between the printer and the printhead. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for about 60 seconds. Plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes reset the internal components.

Update Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. Visit the HP website, locate your printer model, and download the latest firmware update for your printer.

Check Printhead Installation: Open the printer cover and make sure that the printhead is properly installed. Remove the printhead and reseat it to ensure a secure connection.

Clean Printhead Contacts: Turn off the printer and unplug it. Remove the printhead and clean the electrical contacts on both the printhead and the printer with distilled water and a lint-free cloth. Allow them to dry completely before reseating the printhead.

Replace Printhead: If the issue persists, it's possible that the printhead is faulty. Consider replacing the printhead with a new one. Contact HP support or check the HP website for information on obtaining a replacement printhead.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor: Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility from the official HP website. This tool can automatically diagnose and resolve printing problems.

Reset the Printer: Perform a partial or semi-full reset on the printer. This process can vary, so refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to reset it.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
